  • twitter

Recently I always find a word "twitter" everywhere.
I remember I read an article about it when it was launched,
but as I couldn't understand what is was,
so I haven't used it before.

...Well, I still don't know what's good about this.
Most of articles just say "it's loose communication.",
and even reading "how everyone uses it",
    I can't get it.

...so I decided to try it anyway.
I added a widget to show it on my blog,
I added a tool on my igoogle,
    now I'm ready!

I'm going to use it for a while,
but let me know what's good about this
if you really love this tool.

  • Ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement)

My friend invited me to Ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement) exhibition!
    It was in Hamstead.

...Before that, we went to eat crape which is really popular in Hamstead.
Wow, there was a long queue...

I was in two minds of eating sweet one or savory one...
but decided to have mushroom tarragon cream one as I was so hungry!
Wow...outside is crispy, and inside is hot mushroom with nice salty taste,
this is soooo happy~~~. I'm gonna try sweet one next time.

So, ikebata exhibition was in a church.
The combination of Japanese and Western was really nice.
All flowers were so unique and beautiful.
They were more than I can describe by my poor English,
    so picture, picture...

They also let me try ikebana, and taught me a very basic one.
It looked Ikebana was so profound culture.
Maybe it has philosophy inside it...? I'm now interested in it.

After that, we went to yakitori (Japanese chicken barbecue) restaurant.
Wow~~~I feel like I'm in Japan...
Fish is so yummy, yakitori is so yummy~~~.
I was told that it's very popular place, also for English people.

Well, I always feel like we should have more Japanese restaurants in the UK!
    We can do business!!!

So, I spent such a lovely day, thanks to my friend again.
    Thank you!

    Thanks!

  • Unlucky, but lucky day

Today was a bit strange day. Unlucky, and lucky.

In the morning, I woke up and opened the online course schedule...
and found that introduction to the new project was moved to
today's afternoon, that had been empty.
Nooooo. I was going to leave at lunch time and
join with my friends for Chinese lunch....unlucky:'(

But I'm gonna leave at lunch anyway... deciding that,
I went to talk to the tutor. And he told me that
"One problem happened and I'm not sure we can have
the brief today. So introduction first, and not sure about later."
    Yes! Lucky! :D

After the introduction, I left the uni, and run to the bus stop.
But I got lost (as usual)...where is the bus stop?... unlucky (well, my fault.) :'(

On the bus, my classmate sent me a text saying
"Brief is tomorrow!"!!! Cool, lucky! :D

At London Bridge, I wanted to withdraw my money.
But cash machine didn't give my card back...
Oh no! Panic! Give my card back! Please~~~~~!!!!
Tried to call to the bank, but the area was no signal...
Tried to move, but there were noisy "London dungeon" people
shouting with microphone...I can't make a phone call! Unlucky:'(

And then I realised someone was just trying to use the cash machine.
When I got closer to her....she is holding my card!!!
"Err... excuse me, that card...err..." despite I talked to her in panic way,
she was so kind to tell me "oh, is it yours? it just came up."
I was so glad she was such as nice person...lucky:D

Saying thanks thanks thanks, I run towards the station.
Avoiding a long queue, I used a automatic ticket machine.
Although I felt like the ticket was a bit expensive,
but I bought it anyway because I was in a hurry.
And on a train, I realised the ticket says "1st"...
oh my god! I didn't choose but it's the ticket for 1st class! Unlucky:'(

Finally I arrived at the restaurant where everyone was waiting for me.
It was so yummy~~~it was worth running so hard~~~.
It was so lucky :D I could eat such a nice meal...
Oh no, it was not a luck, but thanks to my friend who invited me!
    Thanks!!!

After that, I had to go to Charlton
because I had to collect my parcel from Japan.
At the depot, the person there couldn't find my parcel
    for long time...please...hurry up...
I have to go back to uni to attend another class at 6...
Well, I couldn't catch a train to be in the class on time. Unlucky:'(

And at the uni, I found the teacher was late as well! Lucky!:D

But he didn't appear for 45 mins...
And when we were almost giving up and leaving the building...
we coincidentally met the teacher at the entrance....unlucky:'(

I didn't feel like I wanted to stay, but actually the lecture was so
interesting and important. I think half of the students had left,
but it was a good choice to remain. Lucky.:D

And then I came back around 9. Too tired to cook.
Oh! But I realised I brought some Chinese lunch back!
I can eat it! Lucky! :D

OK, please finish before the next unlucky...

  • Writing a report and Oasis

I can't concentrate on reports...and I'm writing my blog, hehe.

Now I'm listening to Oasis's "Dig Out Your Soul".
It's their most recent album released in last October.
    I love this album.

Originally I like Oasis and Wonderwall always makes me cry.
I remember I used to carry a lot of MD(!) of Oasis whenever I go.
But their music sounded less interesting from "Heathen Chemistry"
and when I listened to "Don't believe the truth"
I felt a bit sad because it was not exciting like before.

So this time, I didn't expect at all to be honest.
    I tried it anyway, and...

This is amazing! Oasis! So cool!

Their music is really straight as always,
some tracks sound like bit pop,
    some sound very Noel-ish,
and important thing is....it sounds new.
I can't tell this well, but something is new.

Now my love for oasis came back,
I'm listening to other albums as well...

Well, I have to go back to reports....

  • Alan Aldridge at Design Museum

The event has closed already, but I went to see
    Alan Aldridge at Design Museum.

    SANY0039

So the image of Alan Aldridge is basically the Beatles..
but I hadn't looked at his art works in detail.
It was amazing, the more you looked at,
the more you find detailed elements.
You can find a lot of things inside such a small painting.

By the way, he is an art director for the band called "Incubus"
and designed their jacket, and it looks there was
"i dig incubus" contest...I don't know much about the contest,
but there was an artwork for that displayed at the exhibition.
    It is made by Kaamuz.

I think it's really good this kind of contest can find an new artist.

  • Chinese new year, Snow.

I went to see Chinese New Year event with my friends on Sunday.
Wow...lots of people...one bad thing being in the UK is that
I can't see anything once I go into a crowd...
everyone is much taller than me.
I couldn't see the dragons, so I bought a small dragon instead...
Cute...I can be patient with this.

    SANY0053

    SANY0048

It was a bit strange weather, it was snowing while I could see the sun.
And today I found it when I woke up!

    SANY0058

Wow...trains and buses have stopped...I can't go to uni...
I heard there was little snow in London though.
    It's so cold....
